Built on the site of a 11th Century castle, the delightful property lies within walking distance of the pretty village and a footpath leads into Kirkby Stephen (approximately 1/2 mile) where there are antique shops, restaurants, tea-rooms and local inns. An ideal base for touring the Upper Eden Valley, Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, with free private fishing on the River Eden, excellent walking right from the door as well as riding, swimming and golf available within the immediate area.
