Hartley Castle is a spacious luxury new barn conversation, built on the ruins of a medieval castle with magnificent views towards Wild Boar Fell and overlooking Kirkby Stephen and the Eden Valley with the Lake District Hills on the horizon. Only a ten-minute walk through the charming unspoilt village of Hartley to Kirkby Stephen with its antique shops, restaurants, tearooms and local inns.
The property has been awarded a four star rating by Visit Britain and it has all the modern facilities with a secluded rear garden and lockable secure garage with ample parking.



Since the property is on a working sheep farm, pets are not allowed but children of all ages are welcome. It is non-smoking.
It is open all year from £200 for short breaks in low season inclusive of heating and electric. Able to sleep 6-8 +cot
Note that the water from the property comes from a private spring. It is filtered and treated with ultra-violet light and is healthy for drinking.
